The Ark publishes information about deaths in two forms: paid death notices for which a fee is charged, and news obituaries that are prepared by reporters.

Joan "Susannah" Wilkinson Sadler

Joan "Susannah" Wilkinson Sadler, age 95, died peacefully in her Belvedere home with loving family at her side on March 26, 2017.



Russell K. Laros Jr., M.D.

Russell Keller Laros Jr. M.D., beloved by family, friends and community alike, drew his last breath surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 17, 2017, in hospice in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. He was 81 years old and had struggled with dementia for several years. He and his family were long time Tiburon and Marin County residents.



William Richard Sweet

Bill was born to Catherine and George Sweet in Medford, Mass., and graduated from Melrose High School. The first member of his family to attend college, he graduated from Dartmouth with a degree in history in 1959. He then served for four years as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, working as a communications officer on the USS Hank during the Cuban missile blockade.
