Fall-winter concert series brings range of acts to Old St. Hilary’s

The fall-winter “Music at Old St. Hilary’s” concert series will bring both new acts and familiar favorites to the hillside Tiburon landmark through December. The Mendieta Sisters, led by world-renowned harpist Anna Maria Mendieta; singer-songwriter Loren Jones; Japanese guitarist Hiroya Tsukamoto; and women’s vocal ensemble Musae are each set to perform in one of the Sunday-afternoon concerts sponsored by the Belvedere-Tiburon Landmarks Society, the Tiburon Heritage and Arts Commission, the Allen Foundation and Bank of Marin. Old St. Hilary’s has been hosting a live-music program consistently since about 2006, says Landmarks Society archivist Dave Gotz, who helped develop and currently organizes the series. There are typically eight concerts a year, four as part of a fall-winter program and four as part of a winter-spring program.
