Festive weekend includes craft sale, town holiday fair and Day of Giving

Tiburon will kick off the holiday season with kid-friendly crafts, music, train rides and photos with Santa at its Dec. 8 holiday festival, which will also feature a hot latke bar, Hanukkah crafts and menorah- and candle-making from Chabad of Tiburon.



The free event is among several local holiday festivities slated for that weekend and further into December, including the Belvedere-Tiburon Landmarks Society’s Arts and Crafts Sale Dec. 7; the eighth annual One Day of Giving pop-up, Belvedere-Tiburon Recreation’s annual gingerbread house-decorating event and a holiday concert from the Marin Men’s Chorus Dec. 8; a Strawberry Recreation District celebration Dec. 10; the Marin Chanukah Festival at Strawberry Village shopping center Dec. 26; a menorah-lighting ceremony from Congregation Kol Shofar at Fountain Plaza Dec. 28 and Chabad of Tiburon’s second annual Tiburon Chanukah Fair in downtown Tiburon on Dec. 29.
