Inaugural Belvedere Home-Made Film Festival will feature 32 shorts, flash mob

Updated: Sep 26

Belvedere’s first Home-Made Film Festival on Oct. 4 will feature 32 short films made by residents, a community sing-along and a flash mob to the Bee Gees’ “Night Fever” led by Police Chief Jason Wu.

The free event is set for 7-9 p.m. at Community Park, with the 10-minute sing-along, featuring the Windsor Street Blues Band playing well-known hits from artists like The Beatles, to begin at 6:50 p.m.

Among the videos selected are short films about what it means to be part of a band, a farm that rescues animals that would otherwise be killed for food and a video about several skiers gearing up to try out for the Olympics.
