Those visiting Town Hall can catch two new art exhibits on display through the end of February: one focused on the art collection of the Belvedere-Tiburon Landmarks Society and another displaying works from Belvedere artist Ginny Knepper Doyle.

There will be an artists’ reception for the Landmarks exhibit, which is in the downstairs lobby and council chambers, 6-8 p.m. Jan. 30. The reception for Doyle’s exhibit, which is upstairs at Town Hall, will be 6-8 p.m. Feb. 4. Both shows are sponsored by the town’s Heritage and Arts Commission.

The Landmarks Society exhibit, “Artist as Historian,” was curated by Piper Berger and Dave Gotz, both former landmarks archivists, and current archivist Jennifer Hartung. About a third of the 17 works in the show have never been exhibited before, Gotz says.
