A newly built 5,000-square-foot home on the southernmost tip of Belvedere Island has hit the market, offering privacy and expansive views of Angel Island, the Bay Bridge and San Francisco’s skyline — with a luxury price to match.

The three-story house at 1 Blanding Lane went on sale March 15 with an asking price of $29.9 million, making it the priciest home currently for sale in Belvedere, said listing agent Oliva Hsu Decker of Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty, edging out 46 Cliff Road, which is offered at $29.5 million. Hsu Decker said she thinks Blanding Lane is currently the most expensive home on sale in Marin County.

The new construction, situated on about a third of an acre, was designed by David Kotzebue of San Anselmo-based Studio Green.
