Tiburon appoints two residents to serve on joint disaster advisory board

A retired firefighter who served as the Novato Fire Protection District’s deputy chief of operations and a media and technology consultant with more than a decade of community building in his property-owners association are Tiburon’s newest representatives on the Belvedere-Tiburon Joint Disaster Advisory Council.

 

The Town Council voted unanimously at its Aug. 7 meeting to appoint Lyford Cove resident Adam Brolan and Del Mar resident Colin Crawford to the vacancies, one of which was created after resident Mary McDevitt resigned from the board in April. The other seat was created when the board amended its bylaws in May to add a seat representing unincorporated areas of the peninsula, including Strawberry and Paradise Cay.
