Tiburon hosts inaugural Asian American and Pacific Islander festival

A performer with Hālau Hula Nā Pua O Ka La’akea scatters flowers to symbolize the appreciation of nature during a hula demonstration during Tiburon’s inaugural Asian American and Pacific Islander festival, held May 18 at Zelinsky Park and the civic plaza by Town Hall. The free event, hosted by the Tiburon Diversity Inclusion Task Force, included lion dance and kung fu teams, DJ Yuka Yu, QJin playing the guzheng and food trucks.
