Viewers at Cinelounge Debate Night Bingo say Harris trounced Trump

Vice President Kamala Harris’ performance had many attendees of Cinelounge’s Debate Night Bingo saying the Democrat easily dominated the night against her Republican counterpart, former President Donald Trump.

 

The Sept. 10 event at the downtown Tiburon theater was a 150-person sellout that filled all three screening rooms, according to owner and resident Christian Meoli. He called the atmosphere a night-and-day difference compared with his June 27 showing of Trump’s debate with then-candidate President Joe Biden, who later dropped out after his disastrous performance.



Tiburon resident Anette Harris, no relation, attended with her husband and she thought the vice president “did everything she came to do” — though more issue-oriented points could have been made.

 

Anette Harris, who has met Biden and worked with Kamala Harris during the vice president’s 2004-2011 stint as San Francisco district attorney, said Biden made the right choice to step down to “forge a new way for the next generation.”
