Election Day is Nov. 3

​Key dates​

• Oct. 5: Ballots are mailed and in-person voting begins at the Marin County Elections Department in the Marin Civic Center.

• Oct. 6: 24/7 vote-by-mail ballot drop boxes open through Election Day.

• Oct. 19: Voter registration deadline. Register and check your status at registertovote.ca.gov.

• Oct. 20: Conditional registration with same-day voting begins at the Civic Center; California allows same-day registration with a provisional ballot. 

• Oct. 23: Last day to request a ballot be mailed.

• Oct. 24: 11-day voting centers open.

• Oct. 31: Four-day voting centers open.

• Nov. 3: Election Day. Polls are open 7 a.m.- 8 p.m.
